About Us
Established in 2013, the LAJHL is the only all-Jewish boys ice hockey league in California.
Founded by Joshua Botnick and Isaac Tenenbaum, the LAJHL prides itself on its uniqueness of playing all its games on Sundays, thereby making games accessible for the many Orthodox communities in the Los Angeles area.
Our philosophy is to provide children with the opportunity to develop skills in a fun and recreational atmosphere. Your young athlete will learn the fundamentals of hockey in a program designed for maximum participation and individual skill development.
Through instilling these skills and fundamentals, we strive to cultivate players with a strong sense of self, whose desire for excellence, compassion for others, and aspirations for self-betterment will make them valuable leaders and contributors both on the ice and in the community. These children are our greatest assets and our top priority!
Located at the LA Kings Valley Ice arena in Panorama city, the rink provides professional staff to maintain the ice, as well as the convenience of an in-house pro shop available for skate-sharpening and gear-shopping.
See you on the ice, IY”H!
